Plenary speech on rural conditions and agricultural pricing

“Mr. Speaker, Esteemed Parliamentary Colleagues, I rise to speak on behalf of rural youth and the thousands of cocoa, coffee, and cashew farmers across the Iffou Region. Our farmers toil from sunrise to sunset in grueling conditions. Yet, they remain overlooked in national wealth distribution. It is unacceptable that Ivorian farmers receive such a pittance of their crops' final market value. We demand structural reforms: guaranteed decent farmgate prices, secure land titling for young agriculturalists, and immediate feeder road repairs. The future of Côte d'Ivoire is built in our countryside. Let us not abandon our villages!”
